University Interviews

Tips and tricks to land your dream University with us.

How to be prepared for an interview?

1. Prepare your own questions in advance

You may be able to ask some of your own questions. Make sure you're prepared to demonstrate that you're engaged in the course and interested in the university.

You might be ask about:
- A specific module, and the subjects covered
- The type of education you'll undertake each year, and how you'll be evaluated
- What roles do graduates move into?

2. Ensure that you attend

If you do not show up, it is quite doubtful that you will be given a spot. In the event that you are unable to attend, please get in touch with the institution to reschedule. Because there are a limited number of interview spots available, it is impolite to cancel at the last minute (unless there is an emergency) or to fail to show up.

3. Arrive early

If your interview is taking place on campus, arrive around 20 minutes early. By doing this, you'll be able to get a feel for the place and minimise needless tension. Make sure you have everything ready in advance and that your Wi-Fi connection is strong if you're attending a virtual interview.

4. Practise responding to frequently asked questions

The majority of colleges will inquire about your motivations for choosing to go and study the particular field. Make sure your answers to these questions are prepared and well-remembered, but strike a balance by seeming genuine and unscripted throughout the interview. This could be an excellent opportunity to discuss the points you made in your personal statement.

5. Go over your personal statement again.

Make sure you familiarise yourself with what you wrote because you may be questioned about some of it in the context of a personal statement.
